On a real note; a question that has been on my mind recently is a good taste of the subject matter that I want to write about in askthealgo.
Are we are living in a time where good ideas are penalized? It seems to me that too often good things get reduced down to a “trend” or “template” for others to bend and mimic to fit their own agenda.
Make a hit song? Congrats, Bounty paper towels probably made a TikTok with the bridge of your song.
Design a cool T-Shirt? Check the end cap at H&M.
Now, of course, artists steal all the time. No idea is original. Fine. That’s true. But has there ever been a time in history where such good ideas were reduced to such mindless and tasteless advertisements?
Alright cool, but what is ask the algo?
